Feature: The Patek Philippe Exhibition – Timepieces Through History

This year marks the 175th anniversary of Patek Philippe, the world's preeminent watchmaking brand. 2014 also celebrates 150 years of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan. To commemorate both milestones, a special exhibition was held for three days only, from January 17th, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Museum of Photography, Tokyo. Here, we present ten exquisite pieces from the approximately 100 museum-quality timepieces crafted from the late 19th to the early 20th century. These include models cherished by royalty and luminaries, those featuring complex mechanisms, and pieces adorned with beautiful, delicate traditional crafts. We invite you to witness the prowess of a company that continues to innovate while honoring its heritage.
