PIAGET Releases Film from the 25th Biennale des Antiquaires

High Jewelry Expressing the World of Haute Couture

This autumn, the 25th Biennale des Antiquaires took place in Paris in September. Piaget made its first appearance at this prestigious salon, which gathers renowned high jewelers, this year (September 15-22, 2010, Paris).

At its booth on the Jewellers' Avenue, Piaget displayed its high jewelry in a setting that truly evoked a "couture workshop." Viewing both high jewelry (haute joaillerie) and haute couture as "first-class work that inspires dreams," Piaget presented approximately 60 pieces of jewelry created with inspiration drawn from the world of haute couture.

Parisian eyes were captivated by jewelry featuring diamonds and precious stones, shaped like ribbons crafted from gold. Intricate embroidery, shimmering fringes adorning lace, silk, and taffeta, along with delicate drapes and dainty bow jewelry, were all showcased together.

Displayed in a showcase adorned in beautiful blue were Stockman mannequins spelling out the name Piaget. The gems sparkled within silk ribbons, lace work, and sewing needles, creating a scene that felt like a dream unfolding overnight.
