A Jeweler's Aesthetic Applied Even to Hidden Details
Launched in 2010, the "Calibre de Cartier Watch" captivated discerning gentlemen with its robust case and strong lines, imbued with Cartier's signature elegance. Now, it marks a significant evolution with the introduction of the "Calibre de Cartier Chronograph Watch," equipped with the latest in-house chronograph movement, Calibre 1904-CH MC. This new iteration boasts a simultaneously massive yet agile presence.
The Calibre 1904-CH MC features a linear reset hammer for simultaneous resetting of chronograph functions, a complex maneuver. It also incorporates a twin-barrel system, ensuring a consistent mainspring torque over extended periods, thereby controlling and stabilizing the watch's accuracy.
True to Cartier's heritage, no detail is overlooked, even in areas not typically visible. The upper bridge and rotor, observable through the sapphire crystal case back, are adorned with the traditional Côtes de Genève, showcasing the brand's jeweler's sensibility.
The design exudes strength, highlighted by the two counters at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, the railway minute track on the bezel, and the distinctively large "XII" Roman numeral above the upper counter. The collection comprises six models in stainless steel, pink gold, and a combination of stainless steel and pink gold, each available with either a leather strap or a bracelet. Additionally, two jewelry models are offered, embellished with diamonds.
The "Calibre de Cartier Chronograph Watch" further enhances the progressive spirit of the "Calibre de Cartier Watch," embodying a style befitting Cartier's new chapter as a manufacture. Its refined aesthetic, coupled with a high-performance movement that beautifully keeps time, projects an elegance befitting the confident man.
