Breguet Fans Gather! Breguet x OPENERS NIGHT Held!
BreguetThe "Type XX" series was born from the passion for aircraft development of the fifth-generation Louis-Charles Breguet (1880-1955), set against the backdrop of its ties with the aviation world. The "Breguet in the Sky – Type XX Exhibition," which conveys its charm across time and space to the present day, is being held until June 26th. On the 18th, the first day of the exhibition, a party was held, the "Breguet x OPENERS NIGHT," inviting 35 pairs (70 people) of OPENERS readers through a public application! In the venue, filled with excitement, conversations about Breguet bloomed.

A Special Evening for OPENERS Readers Who Love Breguet
The venue showcased the glorious trajectory of Louis-Charles Breguet, the fifth generation of Breguet and a pioneer of French aviation. From marine chronometers, precision timepieces for navigation made in the 1800s that mark the beginning of Breguet's relationship with the navy, to pocket watches and dashboard watches for naval pilots from the 1950s, a number of museum pieces with deep ties to the French Naval Aviation "Aéronavale" were specially exhibited. Also on display was the world's first mechanical chronograph introduced in 2010, achieving 72,000 vibrations per hour (10Hz).ChronographThe "Type XXII" was also exhibited. A corner featuring its "10Hz (Hertz) vibration frequency" was set up, recreating the venue of the "10Hz Exhibition" held in Geneva in January of this year. This aims to deepen visitors' knowledge of the 10Hz vibration technology and allow them to learn about the numerous advantages this technology brings to watchmaking.
On the day, guests were welcomed by a DJ set from Tomoyuki Tanaka (FMP), who is active both domestically and internationally as a DJ/producer.
A talk show was also held between Mr. Tanaka, a Breguet enthusiast, and Koichi Yamaguchi, Editor-in-Chief of OPENERS. While sipping champagne, the attendees listened intently to Mr. Tanaka's thoughts on Breguet.
The "Breguet in the Sky – Type XX Exhibition" is being held until June 28th. Breguet, a pioneer of chronographs and also a pioneer of the skies.
