Focusing on minimalist Scandinavian design. A watch commemorating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark, released in a limited edition of 200 pieces.

From the Danish design brand JACOB JENSEN, an anniversary watch commemorating the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Denmark will be released on Friday, June 9th.

A Special Model, Limited to 200 Pieces in Japan

JACOB JENSEN is a design brand founded by Jacob Jensen, a leading Danish designer, bearing his name.

Since the brand's inception in 1958, it has produced over 500 works across a wide range of genres, with 20 pieces permanently exhibited at MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Since the founder, Jacob Jensen, passed away at the age of 89 in 2015, his son and chief designer, Timothy Jacob Jensen, has inherited his vision and continues to release new works.

The new watch being released this time is the brand's first-ever custom order for Japan, a rare item limited to 200 pieces domestically.

The design is based on the brand's signature work, "Dimensions."

It features a dial with a circular brush finish.

The almost perfectly flat, clear glass exudes an elegant aura.

Two models are available: the "848" in silver and gray only, and the "849" which uses a color scheme not found in existing collections.

This is a precious timepiece, a testament to the strong relationship built between Japan and Denmark over their 150-year history.
