From Sony's "wena™ wrist" series, Japan's first official "Star Wars" smartwatch* has arrived.

Sony is releasing the "wena wrist pro Chronograph set / STAR WARS limited edition," a new model in its hybrid smartwatch "wena™ wrist" series, on October 19, 2019. This limited edition features designs inspired by "Star Wars," coinciding with the release of the latest film, "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," scheduled for December 20, 2019.

This is Japan's first official "Star Wars" smartwatch*, embodying the saga's theme of "light versus dark" in its concept.
Pre-orders will begin on October 4, 2019, ahead of the official release.

The “THE LIGHT SIDE” design features the Millennium Falcon, captained by Han Solo in the films, while “THE DARK SIDE” symbolizes the Death Star, the Galactic Empire's ultimate weapon, representing "light and dark" respectively.
*This is a special set product based on the wena wrist pro (band) and Chronograph head.

Head Unit Features:
The watch face features blueprints of the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star. Lines extend from various parts of the blueprints to the case back, with their names also engraved.
The lines extending from the blueprint parts continue to the case back, where their names are also engraved.
The tip of the chronograph second hand is adorned with motifs of an X-wing and an Imperial Star Destroyer, designed to appear as if they are flying around their respective ships as time progresses.
The chronograph's tachymeter function is marked with the in-film unit "PARSEC."
The crown is engraved with the emblems of the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire.

Band Unit Features:
The band uses the wena wrist pro, equipped with electronic money, notification, and activity log functions.
When powered on, “THE LIGHT SIDE” plays the rhythm of the "Star Wars Main Theme," and “THE DARK SIDE” plays the rhythm of "The Imperial March" in a special specification.
