INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO (hereafter INTERSECT) will launch its limited-edition Valentine's menu, "Amaou Gateau Chocolat + Amazake & Coconut Milk Ice Cream with ca ca o," starting February 1st (Saturday). The dessert features a gateau chocolat made with premium Amaou strawberries and ice cream infused with amazake and cacao nibs.
During this period, the GARAGE on the 1st floor of INTERSECT will host a special exhibition themed "Encounter with Cacao," where visitors can also enjoy a vegan chocolate soft serve.
The Amaou Gateau Chocolat will also be available for purchase at the store.
The Valentine's limited-edition menu offered by INTERSECT is an original creation, developed in collaboration with specialist shops for both the gateau chocolat and ice cream, offering a unique taste only available at INTERSECT.
The gateau chocolat was developed with "ca ca o," a chocolate specialty shop that won all titles at the "Academy of Chocolate 2019" international competition in the UK and was chosen for gifts for heads of state during the "Sokui no Rei" (Enthronement Ceremony) and the "G20 Osaka Summit."
The ice cream was developed in collaboration with "BEAT ICE," an ice cream studio in Hayama that offers treats kind to the region and the body.
The "Amaou Gateau Chocolat," developed with "ca ca o," uses carefully selected cacao beans for its rich, flourless formulation.
Inside the gateau chocolat, a custom confiture made with 100% seasonal Amaou strawberries is sealed.
The dessert offers a harmonious blend of the Amaou's signature fruity sweetness and the rich bitterness of cacao, creating a flavor that fills the palate.
The "Amazake & Coconut Milk Ice Cream with ca ca o," developed with "BEAT ICE," is a vegan ice cream based on amazake and coconut milk.
Amazake derived from rice harvested in the terraced paddies of Hayama, Kanagawa Prefecture, is combined with rich coconut milk, and "ca ca o" cacao nibs are steeped overnight to capture their sweet aroma.
The moment it touches your tongue, the sweetness of the ice cream and the aroma of cacao unfold in exquisite balance.
This dish can be enjoyed with the accompanying cacao nibs and gateau chocolat.
Additionally, INTERSECT's 1F GARAGE is hosting an exhibition themed "Encounter with Cacao."
