The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko Begins Accepting Reservations from Friday, March 6, 2020!
The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko will begin accepting accommodation reservations from Friday, March 6, 2020, and will also launch six experiential packages that allow guests to savor the majestic nature and history of Nikko.
What is True Luxury, According to The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko?
Opening on Friday, May 22, 2020, The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko, located with views of the scenic Lake Chuzenji and Mount Nantai, a UNESCO World Heritage site, will commence accepting accommodation reservations on its official website from Friday, March 6, 2020.
With a concept of "a residence in harmony with the nature of Okunikko," the 94 guest rooms, featuring a blend of traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern design, offer spacious retreats of at least 57 square meters. These include King and Double rooms (57 sqm) overlooking Mount Nantai or Lake Chuzenji, Suites (115 sqm) with lake views, and the hotel's largest, The Ritz-Carlton Suite (277 sqm).
Each room features a private balcony and a lounge area designed to resemble an 'engawa' (traditional Japanese veranda), allowing guests to relax while fully immersing themselves in the beautiful natural surroundings of Nikko National Park. We invite you to experience the distinct beauty of each season, from the fresh greens of spring to the vibrant autumn foliage and the serene snowscapes of winter.
What is the "true luxury" of Nikko? Perhaps it is a space and experience that allows one to deeply appreciate the Japanese appreciation for the beauty of the changing seasons, and to immerse oneself in the natural and cultural splendor of this land.
To ensure guests understand that not only accommodation but also the surrounding pristine nature, the enduring traditional culture, and the spirituality born from tranquility and the ephemeral beauty of nature are integral parts of this journey, we have prepared experiential packages centered around three pillars: "Nature," "Culture," and "Spirituality."
