Thursday, November 11: "The 3rd Global Stock Incentive Web Seminar 2021" – Introducing Case Studies of Stock Compensation Adoption by Japanese Companies and the Latest Trends in Global Stock Compensation Systems

Global Shares Japan, a fintech company based in Ireland, will co-host the "3rd Global Equity Incentive Web Seminar 2021" with the Irish government's trade and investment agency on November 11, 2021.

Now in its third year, this seminar will feature guest speakers from Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Fujitsu Limited, companies that have already implemented global equity incentive plans. They will share their experiences, including the objectives and aims of introducing equity incentives in corporate management strategies, and the results achieved from the implementation and operation of global plans.
Furthermore, continuing from last year, Willis Towers Watson, Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, and Tapestry Law will also be presenting, with plans to discuss the latest trends in global equity incentives.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought about changes in how we work and the nature of employment. This has also led to shifts in the relationship between employees and companies regarding compensation. For instance, some Japanese companies are adopting equity incentives in various forms: converting a portion of fixed salaries into equity incentives to strengthen executive and employee motivation; introducing plans using parent company stock to maintain and enhance the motivation of executives and employees at acquired overseas companies; and implementing equity incentives to attract and retain talent with highly specialized skills. On the other hand, operation requires compliance with laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards, as well as smooth and efficient operational practices.

Global Shares, a leading company in the industry providing solutions for these equity incentive-related challenges, will host a web seminar to deliver the latest information on global equity incentive plans promptly.
