Dining Innovation, the company behind successful restaurant brands like "Yakiniku Kintan" and "Yakitori-ya Sumire" both domestically and internationally, is set to open its first "Yakiniku Like" restaurant on August 29, 2018, at noon. Located in front of the Shinbashi SL Plaza, this new establishment is positioned as a fast-food yakiniku restaurant.
Dining Innovation has consistently introduced novel dining experiences to the restaurant industry, such as "Yakitori-ya Sumire," which appeals to women and families, and "Yakiniku Kintan," suitable for women dining together or on dates, thereby offering new value to the dining scene.
"Yakiniku Like" features individual smokeless tabletop grills, allowing customers to enjoy their preferred cuts of meat in their own time. It aims to revolutionize the conventional yakiniku experience by addressing common concerns such as the inability to try various cuts alone, the perceived difficulty for women to dine solo, and the time commitment involved.
The Three Concepts of "Yakiniku Like"

When you crave yakiniku on the spur of the moment, dining alone at a traditional yakiniku restaurant can be daunting. To cater to such individuals, we've developed individual tabletop grills, allowing you to enjoy yakiniku at your own pace. As these grills are smokeless, even office workers or women concerned about odors and smoke can dine with peace of mind.
2. "Tasty! Quick! Value! The Fast Food of Yakiniku"
We've simplified the menu, omitting standard yakiniku restaurant fare like cold noodles and yukhoe, focusing solely on yakiniku, rice, seaweed soup, and kimchi.
This streamlined menu enables us to serve orders within three minutes of being placed. This efficiency allows us to allocate a higher proportion of our costs to the meat itself compared to conventional yakiniku restaurants, offering delicious yakiniku at an unbeatable price.
3. "Choose Your Cuts, Choose Your Portions, Choose Your Sauce. Your Own Custom Yakiniku Experience"
A significant part of enjoying yakiniku is the ability to try various cuts. At "Yakiniku Like," you can select your preferred cuts, portions, and sauces. For example, you might order "100g of Kalbi with tare sauce or salt tare, 50g of Sagari with tare sauce or salt tare, and 50g of Negishio Tan."
