On November 4th (Saturday), the International Test Match between the Japan national rugby team and the Australian national team, dubbed the "Lipovitan D Challenge Cup 2017," will take place at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, the venue for the Rugby World Cup 2019 final.
To amplify the excitement for this match, a unique ticket will go on sale starting September 2nd (Saturday), allowing fans to cheer for a "defeat of the Australian team (nickname: Wallabies)" while enjoying kangaroo cuisine.
This is the second release of special event tickets: the "Let's Face the Match with Kangaroo Meat! Ticket."
Fans can bring the "Kangaroo Steak 300g," created with the sentiment of "defeating the Australian team" before the match, to enjoy while watching the game.
Kangaroo meat is a rare ingredient in Japan, with limited imports making it difficult to find and consume.
It's a beneficial ingredient for athletes, being rich in protein while low in fat, calories, and cholesterol. It also contains a higher concentration of conjugated linoleic acid than other meats, which may aid in muscle enhancement.
The kangaroo dish was created by Chef Shin Okamato of "La Bombance," a restaurant in Nishi-Azabu that has consistently earned Michelin stars for nine consecutive years since 2008.
He prepared it using simple cooking methods that highlight the appeal of game meat, finished with a familiar special garlic sauce.
