Wisdom for living in the present and future, learned at a temple. "School Nalanda vol 3" opens at Tsukiji Honganji Temple in Tokyo!

School Nalanda, a place to learn wisdom for living in the present and future, created with monks, experts from diverse fields, and young people. The third installment, held in Kyoto and Toyama in 2017, attracted many participants with its in-depth program and garnered significant acclaim.
The third installment will be held at Tsukiji Honganji Temple in Tokyo, known for its unique architecture inspired by ancient Indian styles, designed by Chuta Ito, a representative architect of modern Japan.
The event features a stellar lineup of lecturers, including a neuroscientist, a musician, a robot developer, a film director, and monks, along with a rich program that includes a Tsukiji Honganji night tour.

Jodo Shinshu has a history of approximately 800 years since its founding. "School Nalanda" is a new learning space for the younger generation, aged 10-20s, who are about to enter society, an initiative by the Jodo Shinshu Honganji-ha. We live in an era where predicting the future of the world is incredibly difficult. In such times, our benchmarks and anchors for living are also greatly shaken. In a society where diverse values coexist, why not learn wisdom from various fields, including Buddhism, to create your own "measuring stick"?
