Concept: "Ishigaki Resort Modern"

Since its opening in July 1982, Fusaki Resort Village Beach & Garden has been a cherished destination on Ishigaki Island's west coast, offering spectacular sunsets and a natural beach where sea turtles come to nest right before your eyes.

In 2018, its 36th year, the hotel embarked on a major expansion and renovation, aiming to create a new space that blends the essence of Ishigaki with a sophisticated resort feel, under the concept of "Ishigaki Resort Modern."

Over three years, through to 2020, phased expansion work is underway, including the addition of new facility and guest room buildings to the north and south of the current grounds.

Ultimately, the plan is to increase the number of rooms from the current 188 to 398.

As the first phase of this renovation, "Aqua Garden," Ishigaki Island's largest pool area, opened in June.

It features a splash park with a water slide up to 6.5 meters high, and a beachside pool perfect for leisurely swimming while gazing at the horizon.

Additionally, a shallow kids' pool for younger children and the "AYAPANI" baby & kids' room, equipped with play structures and an indoor play area, ensure fun for families.

Adjacent to the beachside pool, the resort beach bar "THE STAR BAR" offers stunning views of the Ishigaki blue sea and white sandy beach.

Guests can enjoy gelato and granita made with seasonal fruits, and after sunset, indulge in resort-style cocktails accompanied by live jazz music in a luxurious atmosphere.
