BAG-Brillia Art Gallery presents "Light Crystallized," an exhibition by artist Takahiro Matsuo exploring the theme of light crystallization.

Takahiro Matsuo is an artist who delves into emotional light art, working across diverse fields including video, lighting, and objects, with a focus on installations. He founded LUCENT in 2012 and has undertaken various domestic and international projects in spatial art.

This exhibition, centered on "Light Crystallized," materializes and visualizes ephemeral light and its radiance as individual artworks. In a predominantly white space, the gallery will unveil a large-scale work utilizing "quartz glass"—a material globally rare for its water-like transparency—for the first time, alongside pieces such as his representative work, the water and light installation 《SPECTRA》.
Additionally, new lighting and jewelry from "EMISSION," the studio he directs, will be presented.

Marking 10 years since LUCENT's establishment, the exhibition showcases Matsuo's evolving thought process and offers a composition that connects his concepts across different media, from art to products. Visitors can enjoy the radiant and transparent light art, fitting for the winter season.
