The Ultimate Cruise Experience, Crafted by The Ritz-Carlton: The Luxury Yacht "The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection" Sets Sail in 2019
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, the only hotel company in the world to do so, has decided to enter the cruise industry.
It will offer the same service as the award-winning luxury hotel brand, The Ritz-Carlton, on the sea.
The first series of three cruise ships is scheduled to set sail in 2019.
Currently, they are creating itineraries that combine stays at Ritz-Carlton luxury resorts with casual, free-spirited yachting.
The journeys will be 7 to 10 days long, calling at popular towns.
The inaugural voyages will offer multiple destinations each season, including the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
The ships will also call at unique towns such as Capri, Portofino, Saint-Barthélemy, and the old town of Cartagena, which larger cruise ships cannot access.
The 190-meter-long vessel can accommodate a maximum of 298 passengers.
Onboard, guests will find 149 balcony suites, luxurious duplex penthouse suites, restaurants, a spa, a panoramic lounge, a wine bar, and entertainment, all offering the superior, personalized service for which the Ritz-Carlton brand is known.
Reservations are scheduled to begin in May 2018.
