First Kanagawa Location! New York's Shake Shack Opens in Minatomirai

New York-born burger restaurant Shake Shack's fifth Japanese location will open on Friday, September 29, at Queen's East.

The "Shake Shack Minatomirai" store, its first in Kanagawa Prefecture, embraces the concept "Weigh the anchor, set sail."

The store's design evokes a large ship, harmonizing with the bay area's atmosphere.

Additionally, two unique concrete flavors will be available: one a collaboration with "VANILLABEANS," a bean-to-bar chocolate specialist and local Yokohama brand, and another with "Koroan," a creator of traditional Japanese sweets from Yokohama Motomachi. A third, charity concrete flavor, developed in partnership with the NPO "Japan Assistance Dog Information Center," based in Yokohama, will also be offered as a store-exclusive menu item.

Why not savor these exclusive tastes, found only at this location?

▼ Minatomirai Store Exclusive "Concrete"

● Shack Attack
A decadent, chocolate-lover's dream, featuring fresh chocolate custard topped with "VANILLABEANS" chocolate tablets,
"Dominique Ansel Bakery" milk chocolate popcorn brownies,
fudge sauce, and chocolate sprinkles.
This Yokohama edition offers a distinct flavor profile, different from the "Shack Attack" at the Gaien Icho Namiki store (Tokyo), highlighted by
the rich, 70% Colombian cacao dark chocolate tablets from "VANILLABEANS."

● Red Bean Pancake
This item marks our first collaboration with a Japanese confectioner and, as the name suggests,
features a rich vanilla custard generously topped with a special brown sugar dorayaki from "Yokohama Motomachi Koroan,"
spun with marshmallow sauce and rainbow sprinkles.
Enjoy the harmonious blend of traditional Japanese sweets and classic American flavors.

● Bayside Crete
Inspired by the coastline, this concrete combines vanilla custard with peanut butter, banana, shortbread,
and kinako (roasted soybean flour), evoking the colors of the shore.
Five percent of sales will be donated to the NPO "Japan Assistance Dog Information Center,"
which aims to foster societal understanding and acceptance of assistance dogs and promote the independence and social participation of people with disabilities.

Price: Small ¥480 / Regular ¥650 (excluding tax)
