Japan's First Custom-Fit, Fully Tailored Turtleneck Knit Now Available

Utilizing THE OFFICER’S expertise in Zegna silhouettes as a base, the "custom-fit, fully tailored" method involves creating a new pattern from scratch, resulting in a "turtleneck knit" precisely tailored to each individual's measurements.

This marks the first service in Japan to offer custom-fit, fully tailored turtleneck knits.

In today's apparel industry, new business styles are gaining attention, such as the popularity of T-shirts designed for wearing under jackets during the spring and summer seasons.

This season, turtleneck knits are trending as workwear for "days without ties," poised to become a strong ally for autumn and winter wardrobes.

THE OFFICER’S "custom-fit, fully tailored knit" uses the Zegna silhouette (Italian silhouette) as its foundation. Size adjustments are possible in 0.5 to 1 cm increments through basted fittings, something impossible with ready-made garments. This allows for the creation of an ideal piece that perfectly fits the individual's body shape and is suitable for business settings. They can also accommodate requests such as specifying collar height and shape, or slightly widening the waist area.

In addition to collar height, customers can choose a mock neck style, and personalize with initial embroidery, ribbing types, and the presence or absence of side slits, allowing for orders tailored to individual preferences.

The materials are broadly divided into four types: 100% wool (Super120’s), Diamond Luminary Wool, 100% silk, and wool/silk blends. The lineup also includes washable materials that can be cleaned at home. In addition to classic colors like black, navy, and gray, a rich selection of colors such as blue, brown, and wine red are available, offering choices only possible with made-to-order.
