An adult's independent study: Tsuchiya Kaban Manufacturing holds a "Leather Book Cover Making" workshop.
Tsuchiya Kaban Manufacturing, a company with 53 years of history crafting randoseru backpacks and leather bags by hand, will host a leather craft workshop for adults themed "Savoring Summer" starting July 14, 2018.
Participants will create an original "Leather Book Cover" designed by Tsuchiya Kaban's bag artisans and designers specifically for this workshop.
The main body of the cover can be chosen from two leather colors, and the stitching from three thread colors.
Once completed, the cover can be used for paperback books or A6-sized notebooks and planners.
With its simple construction, the workshop is easily accessible even for those new to leather crafting.
