Exclusive Display: Limited Edition Marble Table & Latest Work by Designer Kenjiro Hosaka
To commemorate the new product launch, the showroom will feature a special preview of "Infinito ∞," a table produced in a rare, limited edition of only 8 units worldwide using the exquisite "Rosso Levanto" marble. Also on display is "Iren," the latest creation by Kenjiro Hosaka, a Japanese designer based in Milan, which was unveiled in Italy on April 13th this year.
Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, the "Infinito ∞" table (pictured left) is a unique product that combines an overwhelming presence with sculptural beauty. This rare table, each signed and numbered, is a testament to Poltrona Frau's vision of contemporary luxury, with no two pieces being exactly alike.
New Product Highlights
Reimagining Masterpieces to Connect Tradition with the Future
Two iconic brand models, making their Japanese debut, have been reimagined. "Chester Line," an evolution of the "Chester" model, a symbol of the brand since its founding in 1912, is presented as a modular sofa adapted for contemporary needs. The second is "Vanity Fair XC," a redesign celebrating the 90th anniversary of "Vanity Fair," first introduced in 1930.
Remaking a Marquetry Table Named After Kyoto from the 70s
The "Kyoto" table was conceived in the early 1970s by architect and designer Gianfranco Frattini, inspired by the craftsmanship and aesthetics he encountered during a visit to a workshop in Kyoto. Poltrona Frau has now remade it, respecting the original design.
Latest Models Through Collaboration with Diverse Designers
Other new models born from collaborations with contemporary designers, building upon Poltrona Frau's heritage, include the rocking chair "Martha," designed by Roberto Lazzeroni to balance comfort and lightness, and the ottoman "Grant," inspired by a blend of two images: the military composure of General Ulysses S. Grant.
