NETGEAR Japan LLC (NETGEAR) has decided to launch the "Orbi Voice Mesh WiFi System," a WiFi satellite equipped with an Amazon Alexa-enabled smart speaker, in Japan.
Sales will begin on Monday, April 1st, at Amazon.co.jp, Yodobashi.com, and other retailers.
The Orbi Voice Mesh WiFi System is a Wi-Fi satellite equipped with a smart speaker featuring Amazon Alexa. This launch includes both a satellite-only model and a model bundled with an Orbi router.
This marks the first launch in Japan of a Wi-Fi satellite equipped with a smart speaker.

Sound that fills the room
Orbi Voice features a speaker designed with audio quality in mind, equipped with a 3.5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter from premium audio manufacturer Harman Kardon. With a total output of 35W and a playback frequency range of 63Hz-20KHz, it delivers high-quality sound anywhere in the home. Four microphones ensure voice commands are reliably captured, even from a distance.
