Limited Edition! Sake Cups Shaped Like Cherry Blossoms, Crafted by Kyoto's Traditional Artisans
Cement Produce Design Co., Ltd. has launched "YOISAKURA," sake cups shaped like cherry blossoms, in collaboration with "Okada Chobutsugu Kogei," a Kyoto-based artisan specializing in traditional Buddhist altar fittings.
Utilizing techniques honed in crafting one-of-a-kind Buddhist altar pieces, the artisans have masterfully carved blocks of Kiso cypress from every angle, exquisitely recreating the curved surfaces of each petal.
This is a superb masterpiece, brought to life by the skilled hands of a craftsman who has dedicated years to his art as a traditional Kyoto Buddhist altar artisan.
The lineup features two types: a sake pourer and a sake cup crafted from cypress wood, and another set with a pourer and cup finished with traditional lacquerware.
Perfect for an upcoming Father's Day gift or a personal indulgence.
Available in limited quantities at "Kotononomichi at TOKYO," curated by Cement Produce Design.
