Arabesque

A new armchair with refined tailoring by Kensaku Oshiro.

The "Arabesque" armchair is designed as a compact piece that embodies both pure beauty and elegance. Its fluid lines convey a natural tension, much like a dancer's form. The balanced, streamlined, and graceful design is brought to life through Poltrona Frau's sophisticated manufacturing processes.

Layers of thin, petal-like cushions provide exceptional comfort and create a unified structure, forming a key element of its compact yet beautiful design. The low seat and angled backrest, when paired with an ottoman, offer a naturally relaxed posture for the sitter.

The "Arabesque" represents Poltrona Frau's innovative spirit, continuously pursuing enhanced quality while honoring a timeless manufacturing tradition. The harmonious materials and meticulous construction, optimized for ergonomic performance, have been carefully selected by Poltrona Frau specifically for the Arabesque.

The "Arabesque" collection is available in two versions: low and high. The high version includes a headrest filled with rigid and molded polyurethane foam. The frame for the backrest and seat is constructed with a metal frame embedded within rigid molded polyurethane, filled with polyurethane foam. The cushions are made from thermoformed ABS and filled with polyurethane foam. The cylindrical metal elements of the armrests are finished in gunmetal or brass varnished coating. The armrest padding is covered with Pelle Frau® leather and stitched.

The "Arabesque" can be upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather or an elegant combination of leather and fabric.
