Hoshinoya Risonare Yatsugatake is offering "Mie Ikeno 2019 Millésime" from its partner winery "Domaine Mie Ikeno" exclusively to guests. The wine will be available for bottle orders at the main dining room "OTTO SETTE" and for purchase at the wine shop "Yatsugatake Wine House."

Three Varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Merlot, Made from Grapes Harvested in 2019

Hoshinoya Risonare Yatsugatake, known as a wine resort, partners with Domaine Mie Ikeno.
Domaine Mie Ikeno is a winery located on a gentle hill in the Yatsugatake foothills, embodying the winemaker Mie Ikeno's commitment to "creating high-quality wines from 100% estate-grown grapes."
The "Mie Ikeno 2019 Millésime" released this time comprises three varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Merlot, made from grapes harvested in 2019. While the Chardonnay offers subtle acidity and complex depth, the Pinot Noir is crafted classically with a balance of mellow attack, tight tannins, and gentle acidity. The Merlot presents a well-structured body and astringency, yet has a smooth, palate-pleasing mouthfeel.
OTTO SETTE
The main dining room, OTTO SETTE, offers the perfect pairing for these meticulously crafted wines. At this Italian restaurant, where the chef personally visits regions to express the earth's bounty using abundant seasonal ingredients, guests can savor the full spectrum of "Mie Ikeno 2019 Millésime" by the bottle. This allows for enjoying the wine's evolving flavors throughout the meal and also ordering back vintages from Mie Ikeno.

Additionally, at the wine shop "Yatsugatake Wine House," where guests can enjoy casual wine tastings using a special card, bottles of "Mie Ikeno 2019 Millésime" Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are available for purchase exclusively to guests. The shop also features a curated selection of 24 wines from Yamanashi and Nagano prefectures.
