The Strings by InterContinental, Tokyo has launched "Bar Room with ROKU," a staycation plan that allows guests to enjoy a collection of six cocktails, inspired by the Japanese seasons and made with Japanese craft gin "ROKU," in the comfort of their own room.

With travel and going out becoming more restricted, The Strings by InterContinental, Tokyo now offers a plan where guests can enjoy cocktails by the head bartender safely and comfortably in their rooms.

'ROKU' is a craft gin that balances aroma and flavor through delicate craftsmanship, using six unique Japanese botanicals harvested in season: cherry blossoms, cherry leaves, green tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper, and yuzu.

Head Bartender Tsuyoshi Takahashi has created six original cocktails inspired by 'ROKU' and the Japanese seasons. The cocktails are presented on a special stand, reminiscent of a display of exquisite sweets, and delivered to your room by the bartender themselves. This offers a unique opportunity to savor exceptional cocktails at your leisure, without the constraints of time.

The cocktail collection features captivating creations such as "ROKU Gin and Cherry Blossom Jintonic Style," which evokes cherry blossoms floating on water, a mojito made with the hotel's house-made mint syrup and garnished with cherry leaves, and "ROKU Gin with Sansho Pepper Aroma," characterized by the stimulating scent of sansho pepper.

Other offerings include "Green Tea and ROKU Gin Connection," accented with orange and yuzu, where the bitterness of green tea is balanced with a subtle sweetness; "Gyokuro and Pumpkin Milk ROKU Gin Fizz"; and "ROKU Citrus Martini," with the aroma of yuzu and sudachi, and the bitterness of tea evoking the Japanese winter.
