Hoshino Resorts is collaborating with PETOKOTO, a provider of fresh pet food "PETOKOTO FOODS." As a first step, they will propose new pet tourism experiences at "Risonare Yatsugatake," "Kai Kinugawa," and "Oirase Keiryu Hotel."

Our beloved dogs are cherished members of our families. Just as we do, Hoshino Resorts has created a new style of travel to give them memorable culinary experiences on their journeys, too.

Their partner is "PETOKOTO," a pet wellness brand that develops fresh pet food and aims to improve the quality of life for all dogs, cats, and their owners, with the mission to "create a society where people and animals live together."

To create food that is safe even for humans to eat, we focused on quality and domestic ingredients, and used a steam and rapid freezing method, different from conventional dry food, to lock in the ingredients' natural flavors, aromas, and nutrients without artificial colors or preservatives.

Furthermore, they collaborated on recipes with Dr. Nick Cave, an Associate Professor at Massey University's College of Veterinary Science in New Zealand, one of only 95 people worldwide to hold the title of American College of Veterinary Nutritionist. Incorporating the latest nutritional science, they developed well-balanced menus suitable for all ages and breeds, from puppies to senior dogs.

As the first initiative of this collaboration, "Risonare Yatsugatake," "Kai Kinugawa," and "Oirase Keiryu Hotel" will offer a campaign where guests staying in pet rooms receive one pack of "PETOKOTO FOODS." At "Risonare Yatsugatake," guests can stay in rooms with a "Residence Pet Terrace." Dinner is served in a private room at the main dining restaurant "OTTO SETTE" offering a course menu, and breakfast is at the buffet & grill restaurant "YYgrill," where you can enjoy meals with your dog, take walks around the hotel, and fully enjoy seasonal activities together.

At "Oirase Keiryu Hotel," guests can stay with their pets in rooms featuring private terraces with views of the seasonal scenery, and can also participate in optional private tours with their dogs.

Additionally, the pet rooms at "Kai Kinugawa," a hot spring inn showcasing Tochigi folk crafts, are equipped with an open-air onsen bath overlooking the forest, and a dog run for your beloved pet. It seems like a place to spend a relaxing time.
