Utilizing Cafes and Workspaces within the Karuizawa Hoshino Area
In the Karuizawa Hoshino Area, the "Onsen Workation Plan," which combines bathing at Hoshino Onsen Tombo-no-yu with six workspaces, is available until April 28, 2020. With the recent promotion of remote work as part of measures against the novel coronavirus, this plan offers access to cafes and workspaces set up within the Karuizawa Hoshino Area for business professionals and those working from their second homes in Karuizawa while avoiding crowds. It also provides various refreshment options specifically prepared for an onsen workation.
This plan allows unlimited bathing at Hoshino Onsen "Tombo-no-yu." The workspaces with free Wi-Fi available for use include the cafe "Hungry Spot," "Maruyama Coffee" in Harunire Terrace, and "BEB5 Karuizawa" with its public spaces. Refreshment options include birdwatching, strolls around Kera Pond, enjoying craft beer from Karuizawa or reading at a book cafe, and various table games available at "BEB5 Karuizawa."
Furthermore, this plan includes the rental of tools to support inspiration and creative thinking. Seven items, including inspiration cards with prompts for ideas, binoculars for birdwatching, and a field guide to wild birds, are provided in a portable bag.
