Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Kohamajima will grand open on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. This marks the birth of a small-scale private resort hotel featuring 60 all-suite rooms and an expansive beach.

Savor the Beach of a Secluded Island with a Sense of Privacy
A 25-minute ferry ride from Ishigaki Island brings you to Kohamajima, a remote island located in the heart of Okinawa Prefecture's Yaeyama Islands. With a circumference of 16.5 kilometers and a population of about 660, this island, formed by the uplift of coral, allows you to feel the beauty of the sea up close from anywhere, while simultaneously experiencing the tranquil island atmosphere with its sugarcane fields and goats wandering along the paths.
Risonare Kohamajima, born on this beautiful island, offers all-suite villas, with every guest room designed as a villa. Sixty villas are scattered across the vast grounds. There are four types of rooms; the most luxurious, the Royal Suite, is a 95-square-meter suite featuring a private pool, outdoor jet bath, gazebo, and sauna, allowing for an elegant island getaway.
Enjoy luxurious moments by the pool and on the beach. You can also gaze at the ever-changing sky and sea views, from the sunrise over the horizon to the star-filled night sky. In the early morning, the "Morning Glow Sea Lounge" floats on the calm sea, and marine activities such as snorkeling and diving are available to fully enjoy the charms of the ocean.
Electric mobility is used for transportation within the expansive grounds. You can freely ride an electric kickboard yourself, from the front desk to your room, and to the beach, feeling the sea breeze.
