Japan's first Champagne hotel, "Cuvée J2 Hôtel Osaka," will open in autumn 2021. Prior to the hotel's opening, the e-commerce site "Tisser by okcs," focusing on vintage Champagnes, will also launch.

"Cuvée J2 Hôtel Osaka" collaborates with several prestigious Champagne houses, including "Taittinger" and "Jeeper," positioning itself as a hotel that conveys the pride and tradition of the artisans who create Champagne's beautiful bubbles and delicate flavors.

Each room features a message from the maison and includes a complimentary bottle of their signature Champagne, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the unique world of each Champagne house.

The production is overseen by Kazuhito Yamamoto, a J.S.A. certified senior sommelier and a pioneer in the Champagne industry who has been dedicated to "building a Champagne culture in Japan." Mr. Yamamoto personally facilitated collaborations with various maisons, bringing this unprecedented Champagne hotel to Japan.

The hotel is designed by world-renowned architect Shinichi Ogawa. The 14-story building features only 15 guest rooms. The minimalist spaces created by Mr. Ogawa are brought to life by uniquely distinct Champagne maisons, each expressing their own world.

All rooms are equipped with semi-open-air baths, and floors 7 through 14 each contain only one room, offering a luxurious experience. The penthouse on the 14th floor is a collaboration room with "Bollinger," a Champagne featured in the movie "007" and favored by James Bond.

The restaurant, "AWA SUSHI," with only 10 counter seats and operating on a reservation-only basis, is also open to non-guests. It's a place to savor the marriage of sushi and Champagne, where the flavors of each enhance the other.

Meanwhile, the e-commerce site "Tisser by okcs" primarily sells vintage Champagnes. Rare and exquisite wines can be enjoyed at home.
