BOTANICAL POOL CLUB, a hotel in the Uchibo area of Chiba Prefecture with easy access from the Tokyo metropolitan area, will be open until Sunday, March 31, 2024, featuring an outdoor heated pool perfect for the winter season. Two saunas with self-serve steam are also available, offering a unique winter indulgence.
A True Winter Indulgence: Soaking in the "HOT POOL" While Admiring the Scenery!
The "BOTANICAL POOL CLUB" hotel, themed around a "pool club," offers an enjoyable pool experience surrounded by uniquely diverse trees. Perched on a hill overlooking the lush, beautiful sea, the hotel features a 40-meter infinity pool, "BLACK POOL," and a circular "SIGNATURE POOL," both available year-round.
By day, bask in the sunlight, find solace among swaying palm trees, and swim or float in the pool. As dusk settles, gaze at the sunset sinking below the horizon. At night, under a canopy of stars, indulge in a luxurious moment with champagne, captivated by the flames flickering poolside.
The poolside bar adjacent to the pool offers original cocktails, various other drinks, and snacks. After enjoying the pool, guests can relax and stay overnight in their rooms, savoring the lingering ambiance.
At "BOTANICAL POOL CLUB," the "HOT POOL" experience is now available until Sunday, March 31, 2024, with the "SIGNATURE POOL" heated to approximately 40°C and other pools to around 38°C. Enjoy a warm pool experience akin to a spa, with views of Mt. Fuji across Tokyo Bay during the day, sunsets over the horizon in the evening, and a starry sky at night.
The facility also features two types of authentic saunas. The "SWEAT LODGE," accommodating up to 10 people and adorned with jungle-themed art, and the "SWEAT BOX," with large glass walls offering "botanical views," allow guests to warm their bodies after the chill.
During the winter season, the poolside bar is equipped with parasol heaters. In addition to the regular menu, hot snacks such as "Lemon Seafood Ajillo," "Red Cajun Ajillo," and "Chiba Prefecture Pork Sausage and Bacon with Seasonal Vegetable Cheese Fondue" are available. Hot cocktails like "Cherry Chocolate Fondue," "Peanut Milk Shochu Latte" made with Chiba peanuts, "Bourbon Apple Cider" with ginger, and "Spicy Hot Chocolate" with aromatic spices are also offered.
For dinner, choose from three "HOT POT" options supervised by Chef Hideaki Sakai of the Japanese restaurant "Sakai Shokai": "Chiba Prefecture White Princess Pork Organic Herb Shabu-Shabu," "Medicinal Takkalmari," and "Toro and Mushroom Hot Pot." Enjoy a warming meal in a relaxed setting. The course includes appetizers before the hot pot, which are exceptionally delicious. The thick horse mackerel fried cutlet, made with local horse mackerel, is truly exquisite!
During the "HOT POOL" period, guests can enjoy the "Early Pool In" service, allowing access to the pool from 1 PM before check-in, free of charge. Immerse yourself in the warm waters, swim, or simply relax in the crisp, clear winter air for a uniquely wintertime indulgence.
Furthermore, the hotel offers four dog-friendly rooms. Dogs are welcome even by the poolside, making it a popular spot among pet owners for capturing unique, non-everyday photos with their beloved companions. As long as they are on a leash, dogs are allowed anywhere within the hotel. This marks the arrival of a new destination for luxurious pet travel.
