For this occasion, DJ and musician Yoichiro Ito has created a special playlist for "OPENERS." While a student at Tama Art University, Ito began his musical career with a focus on sampling. Around the fall of 2018, he discovered a passion for painting. Since then, he has painted daily, culminating in his first solo exhibition, "NEW FACE," at Harajuku's kit gallery at the end of 2019, which received high acclaim. He continues to create works in his unique style, composing music and painting simultaneously.
While a student at Tama Art University, I started my musical career with a sampling-based style, and around the fall of 2018, I suddenly awoke to painting. Since then, I've been painting every day and held my first solo exhibition "NEW FACE" at Harajuku kit gallery at the end of 2019. I have since continued to work in the style of composing and painting at the same time.
