15th Anniversary Event Announced!
The 15th anniversary event for ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH, Japan's globally renowned leather brand, "ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH NIGHT 'One Decade and a Half'," will be held on Friday, September 13th at ageHa in Shinkiba. A stellar lineup of artists is set to participate.

ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH is a brand that relentlessly pursues leather year-round, developing original materials from scratch. It pushes the boundaries of leather's potential, creating unique products from apparel to bags, boots, and accessories through distinctive processing and dyeing techniques. Each piece, meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, is truly one-of-a-kind and supported by a legion of devoted fans.
The brand's 15th anniversary event, "ISAMU KATAYAMA BACKLASH NIGHT 'One Decade and a Half'," will feature a distinguished roster of artists deeply connected to the brand, including Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, the HIATUS, LOSALIOS, Shohei Muto with Koji Ueno, Yodomibozu, THE STREET BEATS, and Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM) x KenKen.
The event will also include an archive exhibition showcasing BACKLASH's creations over the past 15 years, alongside special plans unique to this occasion, promising a grand celebration of the brand's 15th anniversary.
KATAYAMA Isamu
Born in Hiroshima in 1965. Founded the leather brand "BACKLASH" in 1999. Participated in Paris Collection from Spring/Summer 2004. Since then, has consistently presented "Made in Japan leather" in Milan and Paris.
His wide-ranging friendships with artists have garnered many fans of BACKLASH leather jackets. Keith Richards, David Beckham, Nicolas Cage, and Liam Gallagher (ex Oasis) have all been seen wearing them.
