The global art fair, Art Fair Tokyo 19, will be held at the Tokyo International Forum. This year marks the 19th iteration of the fair, featuring 139 galleries from Japan and abroad. It runs until March 9, 2025.

Art Fair Tokyo serves as a vital hub for collectors and industry professionals, both domestic and international, showcasing a diverse range of high-quality works from ancient art to contemporary pieces and crafts. The fair attracts numerous visitors annually, with over 55,000 attendees in 2024. It offers a precious opportunity to encounter memorable artworks and deepen one's understanding of art.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, this year welcomes 13 new galleries, bringing the total number of participating galleries from Japan and abroad to 139. Art Fair Tokyo continues to grow as a key platform, working with a committee of leading Japanese galleries to deepen connections with major stakeholders in the art market, set against the backdrop of Japan's rich artistic heritage.

This year features a curated selection of remarkable works, including performance costumes and pieces by Yayoi Kusama from Takeda Art, and rare color photographs by Daido Moriyama from first-time exhibitor AKIO NAGASAWA.
