Loftwork Inc. and FabCafe Global will host "crQlr Summit 2023 JAPAN" on February 22nd at the sustainable field "Mitome Mukashi Mura." The event will include the "crQlr Awards 2022" ceremony and a talk session with award recipients, judges, and experts.

The "crQlr Awards" is a global award for designing a circular economy. It is an award in the field of "circular design" that aims to realize a circular economy by not only leveraging practical know-how from existing industries but also broadening perspectives through exposure to domestic and international case studies, and by utilizing the creativity of entrepreneurs, artists, and professionals from a wide range of fields.

The event venue, "Mitome Mukashi Mura," is a regenerated natural space located within the premises of Ishizaka Sangyo, a company that handles intermediate processing of industrial waste. It serves as an environmental education field utilizing a satoyama that was restored and preserved from a mountain of illegal dumping.

Ishizaka Sangyo, under the vision of Zero Waste Design championed by Noriko Ishizaka, one of the judges for the "crQlr Awards 2022," has achieved a 98% reduction and recycling rate for the industrial waste it handles.

"crQlr Summit 2023 JAPAN" will feature a diverse program allowing participants to experience "crQlr" through their five senses, including a tour of Ishizaka Sangyo Corporation's resource recycling plant, lunch at "Ishizaka Organic Farm," talk sessions with judges, award recipients, and experts from "crQlr Awards 2022," music, and networking.

It will be an opportunity to connect with leading guests and participants involved in the circular economy.
