Asahi Shuzo, known for its Japanese sake "Dassai," has released a limited quantity of "Dassai 39 Sparkling," featuring a crisp and refreshing taste, available until June.

Utilizing the "Nature Method" That Leverages the Fermentation Power of Moromi

Asahi Shuzo has strived to create superior sake through transformation and innovation, notably by eschewing the traditional sake-making structure of a master brewer (toji) and instead focusing on sake production by its employees.
Now, a sparkling type of Dassai, perfect for early summer, has arrived in limited quantities.
The base is "Dassai Junmai Daiginjo 39," popular for its crisp flavor. It employs the "Nature Method," also used for champagne, which utilizes the fermentation power of roughly filtered moromi. The bubbles created by secondary fermentation in the bottle burst in the mouth, spreading a taste that conveys meticulousness and delicacy.
The gentle effervescence and fine texture of "Dassai 39 Sparkling" are a perfect match for fruits. Enjoy the refreshing taste, unique to this season, and get a head start on early summer.
