On March 11th (Saturday), coinciding with the Hankyu Men's Tokyo Spring Jamboree, Japanese sake brand WAKAZE will collaborate with Brift H, led by master shoeshiner Hiroyuki Hasegawa, to offer a service that combines shoeshining with the enjoyment of sake.

WAKAZE aims to make sake a global beverage, envisioning a world where sake is brewed and enjoyed worldwide. In 2019, they established "KURA GRAND PARIS," a brewery near Paris, the heart of global food culture. There, they brew sake using French ingredients, incorporating local culinary traditions and the latest Parisian food trends.

This event marks a collaboration with Brift H, founded in 2008 by Hiroyuki Hasegawa, the first-ever champion of the World Championships of Shoeshining. With the motto "Revolutionizing Footwear Worldwide!", Brift H pioneered the counter-style shoeshine, where customers watch their shoes being polished. It has become a destination for shoe enthusiasts not only in Japan but from around the globe.

During this event, guests can enjoy a glass of "THE BARREL LIMITED WHISKY," a sake brewed at "KURA GRAND PARIS" and aged in French whisky barrels, while Brift H's artisans perform their craft.
