The act of buying wine has evolved into an experience to be savored. "wine@EBISU" Opens in Ebisu | EAT
Discover Your Perfect Bottle Through Wine Curation and Tastings at a New Shop & Bar in Ebisu
A new experiential shop & bar, "wine@EBISU," has opened in Ebisu, offering a personalized wine diagnosis to help you find your preferred taste, with opportunities for tasting and purchasing.
An AI analyzes your preferences as you rate the wines you drink, creating a unique personal wine profile.
At the newly opened shop & bar "wine@EBISU," you can explore and find "the one" wine that's just right for you, with recommendations based on a smartphone-based personalized wine diagnosis, complemented by tastings and comparative sips.
The featured "Personalized Wine Diagnosis" is remarkably simple, requiring just 15 questions and about 3 minutes to complete. Its unique algorithm was developed by experts well-versed in both technology and wine, enabling personalized wine recommendations for each user.
Furthermore, as users rate the wines they've tried, an AI analyzes their preferences, refining their taste profile and creating a unique personal wine journal.
At "wine@EBISU," sommeliers have meticulously selected 800 types of wine, focusing on their intrinsic value rather than fame or prestige. Over 30 wines are available for tasting at 250 yen per 20ml glass. Wines recommended through the diagnosis can be purchased on-site.
The wine selection offers flexibility in regions and varietals not typically found in traditional wine shops, with a particular emphasis on food pairings. Wines that are enjoyable even when finishing a whole bottle among a small group are curated. The lineup also includes aged wines, which are often out of reach in conventional restaurants, as well as trendy orange and rosé wines, and wines from unusual origins.
The shop also offers products available through its official online store, allowing customers to consider purchases at home if they hesitate in-store.
"wine@EBISU" offers a wide price range for its wines, from 1,700 yen to 200,000 yen, with a particular focus on the 3,000 to 5,000 yen bracket. This new shop & bar is a welcome addition for anyone looking to find their perfect daily wine or a special bottle.
