Vibrant Fresh Fruitiness and Layered Flavors
Armand de Brignac is a Champagne brand that celebrates successful individuals, including globally active musicians, top athletes, business icons, and celebrities. Rapper and entrepreneur Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter is deeply involved with Armand de Brignac, aiming to create the world's most iconic and prestigious top-tier Champagne. Its trophy-like bottle design, exuding an overwhelming presence, has also made it beloved as a 'symbol of success,' an ultimate Champagne indispensable for celebrations.
The cuvées of Armand de Brignac are crafted through the assemblage of three vintages, characterized by their harmonious and complex flavors and aromas. They fuse the freshness of young wines with the depth and richness of reserve wines, resulting in an artistic harmony of taste.
'Armand de Brignac Brut Gold,' newly handled from January 2022, was the brand's first cuvée released in 2006 and is the brand's flagship. It reflects the tradition of Champagne blending and is a prestige cuvée born from the most acclaimed terroirs of the region. The blend of three different vintages expresses vibrant fresh fruitiness and layered flavors. The aroma evokes notes of peach, apricot, red berries, candied citrus, and orange blossom, with a subtle hint of brioche. The palate is rich, with nuances of cherry, tropical fruits, lemon, vanilla, and honey.
'Armand de Brignac Rosé' is the brand's second cuvée, released in 2008. Fifteen percent of still red wine, made from old Pinot Noir vines that yield concentrated flavors, is blended in the final stage, allowing for a deeper texture and nuances of red fruits. The aroma features strawberry, cassis, and cherry, followed by subtle floral notes and a sweet almond scent. The palate has a solid structure derived from the predominantly black grapes, with black fruits, cherry, and a faint hint of baked goods.
