The Tanba Chestnut Mont Blanc, a Hit Last Year

Aman Kyoto is a private resort nestled in a secluded forest garden at the foot of Mount Takao, continuing from Mount Hidari Daimonji in northern Kyoto. The freshly piped Mont Blanc cream, made with luxurious Tanba chestnuts, renowned as the finest Japanese chestnuts, envelops a sequence of delights: starting with Tanba black bean crème brûlée, followed by exquisite Japanese "Wasanbon" cream, matcha ganache, and a fluffy chestnut mousse. The base is a moist, baked hazelnut financier. Finished with a black sesame tuile, it's a visually elegant sweet.
The six layers of autumn flavors create a delicious harmony with every bite. Wine pairing by the sommelier is also recommended.
