Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Distillation and Creation at The Glenmorangie Distillery, and his creation team are constantly exploring new flavours and possibilities. Through their research, they discovered that aging Glenmorangie for 12 years enhances its silky smoothness, sweetness, and complexity.

Glenmorangie Original 12 Year Old has also received high praise at various international awards. It won a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2024 and has also earned Gold Medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the International Spirits Challenge, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

The tasting notes reveal an impressive bright golden hue. The aroma harmonizes citrus and ripe peach with the softness of vanilla. On the palate, fruity notes spread after the vanilla, with a lingering peach sensation in the mouth. Cream, mandarin, and lemon create lively flavours, accented by hints of fennel and nutmeg.
