A Moment to Fulfill Your Senses While Journeying Through Dalí's World
The Bar & Lounge "Whisk," themed around an artist's atelier and meaning "to mix," has introduced "Afternoon Exhibition." This offering provides guests with new discoveries and excitement, inspired by renowned masterpieces.
The first installment, "Memory," expresses the world of "The Persistence of Memory," a representative work by the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí.
The "Afternoon Exhibition" begins with three types of scones served on a palette, symbolizing an atelier, paired with a mocktail. A palette with two kinds of strawberry and mascarpone sauces, presented in "paint tubes," is also included.
The drinks are mocktails that deepen in flavor, using tomato, basil, and grapefruit, creating a synergy with the combination of scones and sauces. A surprising touch awaits as you pour the drink into a glass filled with cotton candy, revealing mini tomatoes hidden within.
The next plate, inspired by "The Persistence of Memory," features a chocolate roll cake as its centerpiece, generously filled with the cream of "Crema Catalana," a traditional dessert from Spain's Catalonia region, Dalí's homeland. The soft watches, a symbol of the work, are faithfully recreated with white chocolate, while the raspberry sauce macaron, shaped like a pocket watch, is not only aromatic and flavorful but also photogenic.
For the pairing, a playful mocktail is served, combining lemongrass, jasmine, and non-alcoholic champagne, adorned with Dalí's iconic "mustache" made of chocolate.
To conclude the experience, a coffee chai appears, a blend of homemade chai, known for its beauty benefits, and an original blend from Sarutahiko Coffee.
Indulge in a new sensory experience at "Afternoon Exhibition," a journey through Dalí's world designed to delight all five senses.
