A "Nice Morning" to Spend Peacefully, Away from the City's Hustle

Keisuke Matsushima opened his restaurant in Nice, France, and in 2006, became the youngest foreign chef to earn a Michelin star at age 28. He has maintained this star for 10 consecutive years. The newly opened Café Nice Matin is named after the Nice daily newspaper "Nice Matin," a place special to him. It embodies his hope that the café will become a gathering place, much like Nice itself, where people from all nationalities can connect beyond cultural barriers in their pursuit of information.

The cuisine features healthy, home-style Niçoise dishes made with plenty of vegetables. Colorful and visually appealing dishes, such as marinated olives, showcase Matsushima's dedication. While it's a café, you can also enjoy bistro fare and a wide selection of Southern French wines by the glass, which is a delightful bonus.


Additionally, terrace seating, long requested by patrons, has been added. The view is exceptional, making you forget you're in the heart of the city. Spending time here, surrounded by greenery and witnessing the changing seasons, is a truly special experience. The contemporary Niçoise paintings and photographs adorning the bright interior add a unique charm, different from what was there before.
