The hops really do the trick! It has an aroma like beer, which sharpens the sweetness of the grapes.
It uses a carbonation method where gas is injected, so it's different from traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wine, but this is easy to drink without being too formal.
With 8% alcohol, it's on the lighter side. I'd like to keep this as an everyday sparkling wine in the fridge. Perfect after a bath!

With the aroma of hops and the refreshing, fruity taste of grapes, and an alcohol content of 8%, which is lower than regular wine, it can be enjoyed in a variety of settings.

Floral Hop Aroma and Refreshing, Fruity Grape Taste
Mercian will launch "Makers Recipe Sparkling with Hops," a new kind of craft sparkling wine, nationwide on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Combining Mercian's wine-making and umeshu-maceration technology with the Kirin Group's hop utilization technology, it achieves unprecedented aroma, taste, and finish.
Brewed using carefully selected grape juice to create a crisp, fruity white wine, it is then infused with fruity, floral American hops and carbonated. Meticulous attention has been paid to the balance of sweetness, acidity, bitterness, and aroma to achieve an easy-drinking taste.
Its characteristics are the floral and vibrant hop aroma, the refreshing and fruity taste of grapes, and a clean finish. With an alcohol content of 8%, lower than regular wine, and a 500ml single-serving size, it seems suitable for various occasions, such as enjoying a drink during a refreshing break or for a toast at a small gathering.
