Red Wine, Making Its Debut in Japan, Limited to Only 600 Bottles

Château Miraval is located in the village of Correns in Provence, France. It has a long history, having served as a monastery guesthouse and later as a residence for royalty and nobility. Since the 1970s, it has been a recording studio for numerous famous musicians, including Pink Floyd and Sting. Today, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie own it as their vacation home, transforming it into a hub for various arts, including music, film, theater, local cuisine, and wine.

The vineyards at Miraval, situated at an altitude of 350 meters across 500 hectares, benefit from significant temperature differences between day and night, and excellent drainage due to clay and limestone soil, yielding fresh and well-balanced wines.

To further enhance quality, in 2012 they partnered with the Perrin family, renowned for producing France's finest organic wines, entrusting them with grape cultivation, winemaking, and sales. The wine has garnered attention as a collaborative effort, with Brad and Angelina, who align with the Perrin family's philosophy, involved in everything from branding to bottle design.

Following the "Miraval Rosé 2013" released this summer solstice to great acclaim, Miraval will now release limited editions of red and white wines.

The "Miraval Blanc 2013" is a popular item, featuring a vibrant aroma reminiscent of almonds, pears, and flowers, with a fresh and concentrated taste. The 2012 vintage, with 1,200 bottles imported last year, sold out immediately.

Meanwhile, the "Miraval Rouge 2012," making its debut in Japan, is a limited release of only 600 bottles. It is characterized by its complex flavor profile, with notes of cherry, blackcurrant, and blueberry, complemented by floral nuances.
