Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo's "Piacere" Hosts an Italian Indulgence Event
A special event, "Italian Senses - Eat, Drink and Travel," offering a taste of authentic Italian cuisine alongside Franciacorta wine, will be held from Thursday, November 27th to Sunday, November 30th, at "Piacere," the Italian restaurant located in Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo.

Franciacorta, a sparkling wine produced through traditional bottle fermentation, hails from the hilly region of Franciacorta, near Milan in Italy's Lombardy region. Certified as Italy's highest designation, DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita), it is cherished worldwide, especially by Milanese who value its quality.
In Japan, the Franciacorta Association was established last year, and on November 13th, a reception party celebrating its first anniversary was held at the Italian Ambassador's residence. Many distinguished guests attended, fostering Italian-Japanese exchange over 25 varieties of wine.
This special event, "Italian Senses - Eat, Drink and Travel," where you can savor Franciacorta wine with authentic Italian cuisine, will be held at "Piacere" in Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo.
In addition to a one-night-only gala dinner featuring a performance by an opera singer, special set menus and à la carte options will be available for a limited three-day lunch and dinner.
