Chandon, Australia's premium sparkling wine brand, is presenting "Momiji CHANDON Kyoto 2014," an event where Chandon Rosé can be savored at approximately 40 select restaurants in Kyoto.

The promotion "Momiji CHANDON Kyoto 2014" invites you to enjoy Chandon Rosé, which, like Japan's autumn maple leaves, takes on a beautiful hue, in Kyoto. This year, a collaboration with Erawaya, a long-established Kyoto retailer of dyed textiles with 400 years of history, has been realized. A stamp rally is also being held; participants who visit the participating establishments (scheduled to be 48 in total, including 10 French and 11 Japanese restaurants) will have a chance to win a special tenugui towel in a lottery.

On October 28th (Tuesday) from 7 PM, the "CHANDON Kyoto Momiji Party" will be held at the restaurant "kiln." The word "kiln" originates from the Latin word "Culina," meaning "kitchen," and in English refers to a "furnace." The restaurant is characterized by its cuisine that primarily uses seasonal ingredients from the Kyoto region.

Chandon is a sparkling wine crafted using grapes grown at a winery in the Yarra Valley, Victoria, a region known for its cool climate, and employing the traditional methods of the Champagne region. Its beautiful, delicate bubbles, smooth texture, and refined, complex flavor are sure to complement Kyoto's exquisite cuisine.
