"Krug En Capitale in Osaka" Makes a Limited-Time Appearance!


The "Krug En Capitale," a phantom restaurant that caused a sensation in Europe, is finally coming to Japan. It will be held for eight days, from Thursday, September 4th to Thursday, September 11th, at an undisclosed location in Osaka.

Since its founding in 1843, Krug has cultivated and refined a unique individuality that allows no rivals. Its champagne, with its fragrant aroma, exquisite taste, and absolute elegance, is pure joy. Perhaps we are drawn to Krug's bubbles because we find a reflection of joy within them.

An event centered around this supreme champagne is now being held. It is called "Krug En Capitale in Osaka." This "phantom restaurant," which has garnered significant attention in European cities like Paris and Milan, is finally making its long-awaited debut in Japan.

What has made "Krug En Capitale" so captivating? It's the element of surprise, with the venue undisclosed until the day of the event (attendees are only told the meeting point). It's the exclusivity, with renowned chefs like Alain Ducasse and Emmanuel Renaut creating menus specifically designed to pair perfectly with Krug. And it's the extraordinary experience of enjoying food and champagne pairings in a space curated by world-class designers for this occasion.

These essential elements of "Krug En Capitale" remain unchanged as the stage shifts to Osaka. The event runs for eight days, from Thursday, September 4th to Thursday, September 11th. Shigeki Hattori of the Osaka-based design collective "graf" will oversee the spatial design. For the cuisine, Yukiyoshi Tada of the highly sought-after "Sushidokoro Tada" in Kitashinchi, and Daisuke Yamane of "Ponte Vecchio," a leading figure in the Kansai Italian dining scene, will join forces to create a special menu.

This promises to be the ultimate gastronomic experience, centered around Krug champagne. It will undoubtedly be an unforgettable late-summer memory.
