Born from the Support of Paul McGinley

The Ryder Cup is a premier team golf competition featuring a contest between the United States and Europe. It began in 1927, adopted its current format in 1979, and is held every two years.

At the unveiling event held on June 17th, Hugues Lechanoine, CEO of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA (second from left), and actress Makiko Esumi (second from right) took the stage, adding glamour to the occasion.

This "Mouton Cadet Sélection Ryder Cup" was born from the encounter between Paul McGinley, captain of the European Ryder Cup team, and Hugues Lechanoine, CEO of Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA.

The idea stemmed from a shared sense of values and "etiquette" between Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA and the Ryder Cup, leading to the desire to create a special wine for the tournament. This unique wine is available in three varieties: red, rosé, and white, each bottle adorned with the prestigious Ryder Cup logo.

Regarding this limited edition wine, Paul McGinley commented: "I am deeply honored to have been involved with this special wine. I strongly feel that Mouton Cadet and the Ryder Cup share the same values of tradition, elegance, and enjoyment. It is truly gratifying to see our concept come to fruition."

Hugues Lechanoine added, "This is a very significant partnership. Just as top players from Europe and America unite to form the Ryder Cup teams, we have selected grapes from high-quality Bordeaux vineyards to create this limited edition product."

The "Mouton Cadet Sélection Ryder Cup" will be available nationwide from Wednesday, June 18th. As the official wine, it will also be served at the Ryder Cup venue in Gleneagles this September.
