Cellar Master Frédéric Panaiotis Visits Japan
Founded in 1729 as the world's first champagne house, Ruinart is also known as the 'Chardonnay House' for its skillful blending of Chardonnay grapes, selecting only the finest. Champagne aged for extended periods in ancient chalk quarries achieves a delicate and pure palate.
For 'Experience of Ruinart,' Frédéric Panaiotis, the Cellar Master from Ruinart Maison in France, and Timothy Beck, Ruinart's Brand Ambassador, will visit Japan. Guests can enjoy these esteemed guests alongside dishes specially curated by Chef Nicolas Bajeux of Signature to match each theme.
The first session on June 11th (Wednesday) is titled 'Introduction - Style and History,' featuring Cellar Master Frédéric Panaiotis. Five exquisite champagnes will be presented, including Ruinart's signature 'Ruinart Blanc de Blancs,' the world's oldest rosé champagne 'Ruinart Rosé' celebrating its 250th anniversary of release this year, and the highest quality 'Dom Ruinart.' Guests can savor the perfect marriage of these champagnes with dishes that incorporate modern essence, tailored to their respective flavors and characteristics.
In addition, the event offers a diverse program, including the second session 'Interpretation (Sensory Experience)' exploring Ruinart's fruity and refreshing aromas, and the fourth session 'Conclusion' where guests can savor the quality of supreme Chardonnay through a comparative tasting of fine wines and champagnes selected by the head sommelier. Furthermore, participants who attend three or more events will be recognized as 'Ruinart Specialists' by Ruinart and receive a formal certificate and a commemorative gift (attendance at the first and fourth sessions is mandatory).
This is a unique opportunity to experience the essence of Ruinart, steeped in history and tradition. We invite you to fully immerse your senses in the true spirit and allure of Ruinart.
