A Special Edition Bottle Featuring a Soccer Ball
Last June, Taittinger, one of the esteemed Champagne houses, became the first Champagne producer in FIFA's history to be officially recognized. During the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, held in Brazil until June 30 last year, Champagne was already served in FIFA's VIP and VVIP areas. This agreement is set to continue until December 2015.
Now, to celebrate the "2014 FIFA World Cup™ Brazil," taking place from June to July this year, a special edition bottle is being released. This highly anticipated Champagne, featuring a soccer ball design on its box and label, is crafted using grapes from over 35 different vineyards. By blending reserve vintage wines and undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle, followed by at least three years of cellar aging, a complex and elegant taste is achieved.
Its lively, fresh palate and light, well-balanced taste make it a perfect companion for watching soccer matches.
