The special black bottle, known as 'Antique',Champagneis adorned with "Cuvée Evangelion," featuring illustrations created exclusively for this collaboration. Following last year's great success, the partnership between a high-end champagne maison and Evangelion has been realized once again this year.



The 2013 edition features Rei Ayanami (Tentative Name), Asuka Shikinami Langley, and Kaworu Nagisa. Together with the 2012 edition released last year, which included Unit-01, Rei, and Asuka, a total of six types are available. The character illustrations are meticulously etched onto each bottle by hand using a glass engraving technique. This special method allows for the beautiful rendering of delicate lines, such as the smooth curves of bodies, the eyes of the characters, and hair flowing in the wind. Furthermore, Swarovski crystals on the bottle and a gold charm on the bottleneck add an extra layer of luxury.



As proof of the 2013 edition, each bottle is marked with "2013" at the base. The luxurious, clamshell-style dedicated box features the Evangelion Champagne logo in gold lettering on a black background, signifying its special nature.



The champagne bottled is "Premier Cru Brut" from Cattier, a prestigious maison founded in 1763. Served in top restaurants and first-class flights in France, this champagne is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier and 25% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from Premier Cru vineyards. It is a fresh, well-balanced dry wine with aromas of flowers and white fruits, complemented by a citrus touch on the palate.
